In this daily internet dominated life, you can't help but notice the increasing number of social media users in Indonesia and across the world. Netizen, a term for them, is a portmanteau of the words internet and citizen as in "citizen of the net". There's always at least two side of everything, and I see two domineering netizen group surfacing into something that are powerful enough to even affect the 'real' world. They are the lovers and the haters. Lovers see and try to interact with the objects they follow based on passion, inspiration, dreams, intellectual, and love. While haters are like a person with a short fuse, easily intrigued and actively commented based on fear, insecurities, and most of all anger, with a purpose to attack or to put something down. It is quite fascinating how these two group show different reaction towards something so instant as the scrolls of their finger.
