The exhibition will be titled either Antara Entah Kolo Ngunthal Bulan (Betara Kala Devours the Moon) or Kolo-kolo. Both phrases are derived from Javanese traditional beliefs regarding disasters or omens of impending calamities caused by natural phenomena or disease outbreaks. Specifically, the first phrase refers to the total solar eclipse (GMT) that occurred in mid-1983, while the second phrase pertains more to the anomalous transition from a period of tranquility to a time of societal change due to the outbreak of a plague (pagebluk in Javanese terminology).
